Rare Fully Removable Hardtop (1973 - 1975 years only). Great potential for soft-top convertible.
79k original miles and owned for 20+ years. Starts, runs, drives great - mechanically reliable. Stock 350 V8 & TH-350 automatic transmission. The 1973-1975 year models are especially desirable for the full-length removeable top. But you won’t find many unrestored early “square body” K5’s without significant modifications, missing parts, or un-salvageable damage & deterioration. This truck is not in rust-free condition, but it is fully intact, mostly original, and runs/drives reliably. Had a prior restoration in the mid-1990's with mechanical, part-time 4WD conversion, paint & re-upholstered front seats. Paint has oxidized and has some body rust-thru since. Original chrome bumpers and headlight bezels. Has original Cheyenne interior including the dash, center console, front and rear seats, steering wheel, trim paneling, visors, and front/rear rubber flooring. Mechanical upgrades include HEI ignition/distributor, gear reduction starter, poly gas tank w/new sender and filler tube. Rebuilt alternator, rebuilt front and rear brakes w/new booster and master cylinder, rebuilt carburetor, and rebuilt transmission. Driver door window crank and vent glass rebuilt. New P/S gearbox, draglink, and frame bracing. New fuel gauge, blower motor, 3-point retractable driver seat belt. Some weatherstripping replaced & new uninstalled weatherstripping for hardtop included. Goodyear Wrangler MT/R mud tires with lots of tread and new Maxxis Bighorn spare. Lots of good but it needs a restoration from the elements so make us an offer. $16,500 OBO.
