Classic Square body style 1987 Chevy R10. Same as the C10, but this was the only year they called it the R10.
Short bed. Clean title. No trades.
The good:
- Beautiful, classic square-body style. Literally every time I drive it somebody asks me about this truck.
- Black leather interior.
- Relatively new u-joint and brake work (last year).
- New battery (this year).
- New rad hoses, upper and lower (last month).
- Great tires.
- Recently replaced the steering column, which tend to be the first thing to get messed up on Chevys.
- Power windows.
- Very minor rust on cab - see photos.
- Clean title.
Needs:
- Has some dings at the bottom of the frame after an auto shop messed up their lift (see photos).
- Passenger-side door panel missing.
- No AC/heat (it is AC/heat capable, AND i will provide the appropriate compressor, in-box).
- No radio (again, radio-capable, has speakers behind seat).
- Main thing: has a leaky head gasket. Hence the low price. Lucky you.
This truck was my daily driver before the head gasket leak. It starts and runs fine, but if you were taking it out of town, you'd want to either bring buku coolant or just tow it. Note that the brown streakiness in the engine pics is NOT rust; it's burnt coolant from when the rad hose had a puncture last month (now replaced). Gorgeous project truck if you're into that. I haven't got the time, and need the cash. Don't lowball me, but I'm flexible on price make an offer. Asking 4,900.
