1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Extended Cab 4x4. Strong 5.9 Liter (360). Power seats, power windows. Originally from Alaska. 200,000 + miles. I am finding it hard to believe that I am listing this. I never thought I would. I planned on keeping this truck. 2 tone Blue/Grey. Comes with Back Rack & Tool Box. Bed liner & diamond plate bed trim!
New Windshield from Glassman out of Dayton, new heatercore, starter, alternator, gator belt, battery from NAPA, tailgate painted last year to match the truck. Reese Hitch. Bull Bar with lights & fog lights, access lights, after market head lights and tail lights. Stainless Billet grill inserts. Track bars, new steering/gear box, & steering box brace. Well over a 12+ inches of lift. I will try to remember everything I have put on it... 6" suspension lift, 3" Body lift, 2' shackle lifts, Two -2" (total of 4") add-a-leaf kits, 3" front leveling lift blocks, upgraded shocks from Rough Country, dual steering stabilizer, bushwacker riveted fender flares, new rear drum brakes and spring kits, New MOOG Upper & Lower Ball Joints, New Spicer U-Joints in the drive shaft and axles, new axle seals, throttle body cleaned last year, with new plugs and oil change, front and rear differential fluid changed along with transmission fluid and filter (last fall).
Also had new dual flowmaster exhaust installed last summer .I'm sure I am forgetting something. I have so much more invested in this truck then I will ever get out of it. It still has some issues. Rocker panels are starting to rust, one rust hole on the passenger side (I sprayed it with undercoating a few years back), interior is pretty dirty I was planning on putting a new carpet in it (new camo headliner installed a couple years back). The tires are pretty much junk. They were used on an off-road truck out of Lima. I bought them and put on mine because they are 38's with the intentions of buying new (from a tire shop across from the Lima Mall..he said he could get the size I have). I never did, so the tires are warped with uneven wear and cuts all over them from corn stalks (plus I didnt get it aligned after putting on the suspension lift)..I just drive it the way it is. It really needs new tires bad along with an alignment. I found some deals on Marketplace, but have since decided to sell it "AS/IS" and let the new owner decide what size.
I have so many other new parts and have done so much more to it through the years...I just can't remember at the moment. Note: The warped tires make it bounce and shake (at low speed). Before driving it long distance I would suggest putting tires on it...I really can't stress enough the need for the tires. When seen in person you will see. Oh yeah, the door hinges were bad, so I bought new for the driver's side and tried to hang the door myself, it needs somebody who knows what they are doing. I didn't get it right. I also installed door guide supports. Also the clear coat on the hood is peeling. I was going to have it painted with the same matching acrylic enamel as the tailgate, but never made it a priority. Its been a real good truck to me & I wouldn't be selling it, but my daughter is starting college and I told her that I don't drive it enough and will sell it to help out a little bit. I am trying to be honest and forward on everything I can think about Big Blue. I have friends try to get me to take it to the Monster Truck Jamboree in Lima, but never did. I wanted to finish it up first. $4000 OBO. I work odd/long hours (8am-7pm..Mon-Fri) with weekends off. If you email me with a number then I will text/call you back as soon as I see the email. I have the clean title in hand.
